By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Embassy of France has announced the recruitment for the 2022-2023 program of English assistants for Belizean university students who wish to teach English while learning French.

“This program allows young university students to help teach the English language in a school in France, while improving their French skills and engaging in cultural exchanges with students and teachers”, the French embassy in Guatemala said on Friday.

“We would like to receive applications from as many Belizean students as possible – which will hopefully lead to more positions being opened for Belize in the coming years,” the French embassy said.
