Learning about the latest trends, innovations, and strategies in retail and bringing ideas to bear in their own businesses . These are the goals of the group of 30 entrepreneurs from the state of São Paulo that Sebrae-SP brought together to visit NRF Retail's Big Show in New York.
The event, the largest and most recognized industry event worldwide, is held annually and is part of the mission itinerary organized by Sebrae-SP as part of the Sebrae Trade Global Business program. Participating entrepreneurs include Jéssica Souza and Leonardo Oliveira of Jéssica Cosméticos, a Limeira-based company.
Jéssica is optimistic about . "I've been researching the NRF for years and made a shop point of visiting the fair with Sebrae-SP because the technical team and preparation are incredible," she says.
"We want to grow in a structured and organized way . My expectation is to take action: put things into practice, make things happen. We came to seek new experiences to achieve new results," adds Oliveira.
The mission runs from January 13th to 21st and, in addition to three days at the NRF, includes three days of guided technical visits to successful stores, accompanied by Sebrae-SP consultants specializing in retail and with extensive experience in international missions.
Among the establishments are the Harry Potter Store, the only official Harry Potter Store in the world; The RealReal, specializing in luxury items, including men's and women's fashion, jewelry, watches, and home decor; the Dyson Demo Store, offering professional and technological hair care products; and Nordstrom, a department store with a wide selection of clothing, designer shoes, cosmetics, and home goods.
